Setting Out Engineer – Civils/ Groundworks

My client is looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join their expanding Civil Engineering division, supporting high-profile residential and infrastructure developments across East and West Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to play a key role in delivering engineering excellence across multiple live sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and prioritise site engineering workloads across multiple projects.
• Liaise daily with construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Provide support and mentorship to trainee engineers.
• Interpret and implement civil engineering works from technical drawings and specifications.
• Attend client and internal project meetings as required.
• Identify and resolve technical issues with practical engineering solutions.
• Maintain accurate records including RFIs, site quality manuals, and as-built surveys.
• Contribute to value engineering proposals and tender documentation.
• Ensure compliance with the Engineers Handbook and quality control procedures.
• Support problem-solving at site level, minimising commercial and programme impact.
